I felt as if I was on a Thelma and Louise road trip with listening to ‘Alberta’, the wind blowing through my hair, the blue skies so close I could reach up and grab a cloud. Escaping, searching for love, wanting it all! Norine says what is always on my mind – freedom! Thanks for such beautiful music, Norine!

I'm not sure if I filled the above fields in correctly, because your face is blocking my view of them...

:-) Haha.

I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore your song "cystallize". It makes me want to wander the streets of New York on a cool, fall evening just to do it. Your voice is very soothing, and the other songs on your media player prove your songwriting abilities to be diverse and lovely.

Seriously. I love it.

Hey norine

Thought I would check you out and listen to your newer tunes, I never thought I could find you that easy. I was wondering if your Mom is still there? So how are you and Alice, great I hope. Michael and Angie have a new daughter, Micheala Dawna Reigh, both on Aug 27, 2006, so now I have 2 grandchildren, one of each, what more could I ask for.

Take care

CRYSTALLIZE IS A GENTLE BREEZE
WOW, DEFINATELY DIFFERENT, INTERESTING AND CAPTIVATING.
A BEAUTIFULLY PRODUCED PIECE OF WORK. I LOVE THE VOCALS AND THIS GIRL IS FULL OF EXPRESSION WHICH MAKES THE SONG SPEAK TO ME.
EXCELLENT ARRANGEMENTS AND THE FLUTE TAKES THE LISTENER BACK IN TIME TO A MOUNTAIN TOP IN SPRING. ALSO A LATIN FLAVOUR CREEPING IN WITH THE CONGA'S BUT VERY MUCH CONTEMPORARY POP AND WORTHY OF MEDALS!
LOVED IT AND HOPE YOU CAN DO SOMETHING GREAT WITH THIS TRACK. ITS GOT THE GOODS!dannyrae from Lautoka, The Pacific Ocean

Crystallize feels more like jazz than pop. But thats cool with me. I like the mix of that sound with a little electronica mixed in. It feels like a cross between Flora Purim & Swing Out Sister. Keep doing whatcha doing...

Crystallize is Silk
Diana Ross, 70's lounge summer love ballad...with flute-sound and all and some crazy keyboard thing in the back. You have this style down to a "t". I really like this kind of music, and it has a fresh feeling to it, although it's a very old sound. "loving you, is the easy 'cuz you're beautiful....la dada da ah...." Very silky voice

Nice jazzy voice on Crystallize
Nice jazzy voice, this really surprised me when I heard it. The voice is definately the main focus point of this tune.
Great Voice
Nice Lyrics
Also liked the flute; that really added a sort of drifty summer vibe. Nice!

When I started to play this song, I noticed how excellent the record quality was. When you start to hear new sounds from your speaker, and the sound seems to evolve around the room, that is when you know you'll give a perfect score in "Recording Quality." The rest of the song itself is very special, and almost melted my hard cold Norwegian heart. It made me want to escape from my own life, and escape to Alberta with the big sky tumbling down, and where those strong winds can really push you around. The song is that powerful, and almost reminds me of folk music. Yes, I am getting my atlas now to see where Alberta is. A moving song this, which I recommend from all my heart.

Alberta- This is the type of recording I would expect to hear more often on AAA radio. Now, the only place I'm likely to hear something this sophisticated is on stations like KCUV out of Denver, or community run public stations that defy convention. The level of sincerity in this track is real, the overall production well thought out. Real skill, real artisanship. A winner in my ears.

Gosh ! , how I love that dreamy intro sound. This is wierd, it's like country mentality with a new wave, pop euro -thing happening. I Love It!, you've created your own genre. No but really this is a really great song and you should be proud to mention one of our provinces in your well written and performed song. I just started the song again lol. I love the way this song makes me feel at points. May the good luck you deserve flow your way.

Take Me to the Prairies
The song seems like it fades in for the first whole 40 seconds. I really dig that, and your voice matches the song and is soothing.

When the harder guitar kicks in, and the background synth picks up around 1:03, I really started feeling it.

The lyrics are so contemplative to me, helped me think of Canada's expanses.

The bells around two minutes kept it fresh for me, and it gives the song a feeling of unpredictability.
