No. 8 brings renowned producer and Juno nominated, Adam Popowitz (Pacifika, Mollies Revenge, Leela Gilday) on board producing and performing on the songs with bass and lead guitar. Elliot Polsky, drummer extraordinaire (Jim Byrnes, Zubot and Dawson, Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir) lends a pair of hands and feet on the groove and heartbeat of No. 8. Blues meister Andrew "HuggyBear" Huggard (Ollie Bollen Trio, Leonard and the Lab Rats) shakes things up with his soulful blues harmonica. International touring freelance keyboard/pianist Mary Ancheta (Bjork,John Mayer, Nickleback) shines with her astounding keys on feature tracks too. The new material on the album is a mix of originals with blues, roots rock and soul at the centre.

Christmas comes early for fans of Norine Braun, as the eclectic indie singer-songwriter releases "Lost Tracks Bootleg," a 4 song digital EP containing what she calls "the lost sessions of music that could have/should have been released before 'Modern Anguish' (1996) and before the collection of the songs that became 'Miles To Go' (1999)."

It includes the haunted song, "Touch Me”, co-written by Kathleen McGee and previously unheard, early versions of the other 3 "lost rock tracks”, Not the Church, Please Don’t Go Away and Watch the News have been available only to fans who collect unofficial "bootleg" recordings including Mystic and Fools Demo Norine recorded in 1993, after winning the FACTOR new talent award.

The collection is worthy of an EP release, while providing an early glimpse into what made Braun rock in her formative singer-songwriter recording years. Songs produced by James Bowers Productions.

I Believe You is the ultimate wedding song for everyone.
This song was a result of my niece's request. She asked me to write a special song and perform for her wedding day.
It was fortunate I recorded the song as a gift to her and her husband as I was in a horseback riding accident and ended up in the hospital when the wedding took place. They were able to play the love song as they walked down the aisle and I am glad to say they are still happily married! 
The song features a killer 90's style guitar solo, contrasting vocal dynamics, beautiful harmony vocals, heartfelt lyrics and produced by the amazing James Bowers. I was going through my archives of demos and songs and came across this beauty, it seemed a shame only the family has heard this love song and I thought it high time to share the music with the rest of the world.
